About the event

Complete the magnificent new Skyline Loop trail in a series of day-hikes. Close the loop with views of the valley from Snows Mountain, and the sound of the splendid series of cascades along the trail of the same name. This hike will follow the segments of the Skyline Loop untraveled during the 3 previous adventures. After taking in the whole trail, you can go for the FKT (Fastest Known Time). Distance: 8.52 Miles Elevation Gained: 1848 Feet Difficulty: Strenuous According to the National Park Service's hiking difficulty calculator: "Strenuous hikes will challenge most hikers. The hike will generally be longer and steeper, but may be deemed "Strenuous" because of the elevation gain. Generally 7 to 10 miles." What to bring: 1.Clothing appropriate for outdoor travel (non- cotton) Synthetic or wool materials are ideal. 2. Waterproof/wind proof top 3. Insulating layer (wool or synthetic) 4. Extra socks (non- cotton) 5. Hiking boots 6. Warm hat and gloves/ mittens 7. Backpack 8. Water 16-32oz. 9. Snacks (lightweight & high energy foods) 10. Headlamp 11. Personal items (cell phone, camera, medications, etc) 12. Trekking poles (if desired) + A smile & positive attitude! All of our guides are Wilderness First Aid certified Space is limited PLEASE NOTE: There is a 2 participant minimum for courses. Refunds will be issued in the event of a cancellation. Please register online before your hike. Registration closes 24hrs. before each hike.
