About the event
Sunspots, solar flares, coronal mass ejections! We live in the atmosphere of a star, which can be pretty volatile it turns out! Space weather refers to the conditions in space produced by the Sun’s activity. Together NASA and NOAA continuously monitor the Sun from multiple perspectives to make real-time space weather predictions that are crucial for protecting our technological assets both in space and on the ground, and critical for ensuring astronaut safety.
