About the event

Embrace the friluftsliv ("open air life" rough translation of the Norwegian) this winter on a series of winter trail hikes with Tyler Durham. In addition to perennial Waterville Valley favorites, hikers will sample some other great options in surrounding towns. Many trail surfaces may be encountered: packed snow/ice possibly with rocks and roots exposed or fresh snow on top with occasional obstacles. Trails may be rough, steep, and involve un-bridged stream crossings. Mt. Stinson: Enjoy the views looking the other direction from this peak which dominates the horizon when admiring the hills from the grocery stores in Plymouth. Formerly the site of a fire tower, today, the open summit affords expansive valley and mountain views.
